WolThùs guest house accommodates 1 to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 luxury box spring beds, all on the ground floor. All beds are provided with down duvets, pillows and fresh covers. There is a neat and fully equipped living and kitchen room and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Eye-catchers are the veranda, garden, unobstructed view and spacious parking. Enjoy complete silence! Bicycles are free to use at your own risk. This gem is 4 minutes from the Waddenzee dike! The space WolThùs! Welcome! Beautiful luxury house for rent (rent for at least 2 nights!) with breathtaking unobstructed views: the kitchen is fully furnished. The living room has a cozy sitting area with a rural decor. The bathroom with toilet, shower and sink is downstairs. Everything is on the ground floor. The 3 separate bedrooms with 2 double box spring beds with Tempur top mattresses are also on the ground floor. The 3rd bedroom is located behind the bathroom in our own house, where your privacy is optimal. Each room is equipped with central heating and air conditioning. There are windows and screens in every room. There is free WiFi/Internet and smart TV. In the kitchen, there is an induction hob, combi microwave/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, various pans, 2 coffee machines (filter and fresh beans), kettle, dishes and cutlery, glassware, etc. Kitchen linen is also provided. You have a beautiful veranda facing south with dining table and a lounge. Ample parking spaces are provided. You can store and charge your (electric) bike indoors. There are 5 regular adult women's bikes and 2 regular men's bikes available which you can use for free during the entire stay at your own risk. A bicycle child seat is available. Please note: rental of guest house is for a minimum of 2 nights for a maximum of 6 people (possibly with 1 child up to 3 years is free). Baby cot, high chair is available for a fee. Please note: If you book for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people, you have two bedrooms at your disposal. If you book for 5-6 people, you also have the 3rd bedroom at your disposal. It is pleasant and clear for everyone if you indicate in advance how many people you wish to stay with. Bicycles can be used free of charge during your stay at your own risk. Pets and smoking are not allowed in the house! Open fire and BBQ are also not allowed! Setting off fireworks around December 31st (New Year's Eve) is not allowed. The guest house is focused on silence, tranquility and nature seekers. It is respected if it is quiet and/or silent around 10 p.m. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, and especially peace, space and views. A hot tub is available for a fee for about six people. €85 per time. Also there is an EV charger available for a fee. €0.75 per KwH. Tourist tax is to be paid separately upon arrival. €1.50 pppn. In 2026, this will be €2 pppn. Guest access You have a great beautiful ground floor apartment with large veranda, garden and spacious parking spaces in the yard. All around are ditches with water! So be careful if you have small children! We are NOT liable or responsible for you or your child during your stay! Please note: Rental of the guest house is for a minimum of 2 nights (!) for a maximum of 6 people (possibly with 1 baby). Baby crib and high chair are available free of charge on request. The guesthouse is aimed at peace seekers and nature lovers. Fireworks free zone. It is respectful if you want to observe silence at 10.30 p.m., inside and outside and summer and winter. Use of regular bicycles, WiFi, towels, bedding and kitchen linen is free! Please do not take these items to the islands. If you wish to bring your own electric bicycles, there is a possibility to charge them and store them indoors. There is a charging point for electric cars for a fee. For a fee, you can also use a hottub (6 people) in the garden. Other things to note I live with my wife very rural outside the small fishing village of Paesens in a nature reserve (UNESCO World Heritage Wadden) without neighbors and quite far from the public road. It is very quiet! There are hares, pheasants and sometimes also deer in the garden. We respect the silence and wish our guests to do the same. So no fireworks with us on New Year's Eve! Shopping and other entertainment can be found in Dokkum, Leeuwarden or Groningen. There are many restaurants nearby. In the area, you can enjoy great cycling and hiking trails, and the many attractions can be found in the immediate vicinity. Hiking tours are possible directly from Wol Thùs. The nearest supermarket is Coop Rosier in Anjum (about 3 minutes by car). Dokkum is 10 minutes away by car. Boat trip to Schiermonnikoog in Lauwersoog (about 5 minutes by car). Boat trip to Ameland in Holwerd (about 15 minutes). You are more than 40 minutes by bike from Dokkum. This is a beautiful piece of nature reserve in North-East Friesland; World Heritage "the Wadden" and the Lauwersmeer area. Paesens, Moddergat and, for example, Wierum are beautiful authentic villages with fantastic views of the islands, the Wadden Sea and the beautiful Waddendijk. Here you can, for example, enjoy hiking or sitting with a view over the sea, and in clear weather you can see the islands and the sailing boats from the dike. In Paesens -Moddergat/Wierum you can go mudflat walking, both for beginners and advanced. The house has an information box with the many sights and possible cycling routes. For all other matters, I am happy to be at your service to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The house is in a quiet and peaceful area overlooking the arable meadows and at the back you can see the Waddendijk. We would like to have guests who appreciate the silence and tranquility. The only thing we unfortunately cannot arrange for you is the weather. Charging point (for a fee) for electric car is available as well as covered storage for your electric bicycles. Hot tub for guests is available for a fee.
