Newly renovated, this studio suite features a comfortable queen-sized bed, a kitchen with a retro refrigerator, flat-screen TV and a bathroom with all the essentials. The space At approximately 300 SF, Cast 'n Anchor offers a taste of tiny home living. Once a carriage house dating back to the 1930's, this building was later converted to a mother-n-law suite, a popular addition to homes before WWII. After many years, the building fell into disrepair and rather than demolish the structure, which had settled into the ground, it was raised up to pour a new concrete foundation. Renovations, which took a couple of years to complete, have given this old carriage house new life; it now offers guests a character-rich respite in a friendly and safe neighborhood along the St. Johns River. The deck attached to the main house is available for your use. There's also a sitting area in the garden to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The kitchen has a countertop stove/toaster/air fryer and a hotplate. Since counter space is limited, there is no microwave. A single serve drip coffee maker, percolator (old school!), French press and kettle are available to make coffee and tea. Guest access You may park in front of the main house or in the back which can be accessed using the alley. Other things to note You will have access to my Amazon Prime account. You will need to use your own log-in information to sign into Netflix, HBO, etc.
