Sandy Bay Lakehouse

Located minutes from Minden village on the pristine shores of Sandy Bay on Gull lake. Perfect for families or friends to enjoy all the comforts of home nestled in the majesty of nature. The west facing property allows you to savour the sunsets from the living room, hot tub or screened in dining room. There is a fully loaded kitchen and ample space for everyone to relax in. Private sandy beach with dock for lounging, swimming, kayaking, upright paddle boarding and even great fishing from shore. The space We love our Lakehouse! Escape the rush of the city and enjoy the laid back community of Sandy Bay Road. The house is fully loaded with all the comforts of city living. There are 3 bedrooms with beautiful views, the lake on one side of the property, and the escarpment on the other. All beds and linens are provided for each guest. This includes bath towels, but not beach towels, we ask that you please bring your own towels for outdoor use. Kitchen linens and cleaning supplies will be provided, as well as toilet paper. We ask that all guests provide their own drinking/cooking water. You can shower, and wash dishes with the tap water, but it is not recommended for drinking. Located less than 50 meters from the property is a natural spring, with an endless supply of pristine drinking water. If you would like to make use of the spring water we will provide storage containers you can keep in the kitchen. There is a lake view living room, a media room facing the forest and cliff and two dining rooms, one inside and one screened-in outdoor for when it's warm out. The walk out basement lounge with wood stove is perfect for cozy fall and winter fires. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for nights under the stars when the weather is nice (please provide your own firewood). The hot tub seats 7, and is located up high for maximum privacy and the ultimate view of Gull Lake. The shallow natural sandy beach is exclusive to guests staying at the Lakehouse. It features a floating dock that's great for fishing or just sitting in the sun right on top of the water. If you wish to transport and launch your boat on Gull Lake you can tie it up here! There is also a full collection of lawn furniture, a horseshoe pit and some water toys. Guest access You will have access to the entire 1000 square foot main floor of the house, as well as most of the basement (a small utility room and storage space will be closed). Other things to note Please note that our space is not well suited for fishing/ice fishing parties, or atv/snowmobile trips. Thank you for understanding. During the peak summer months we only offer "week long" bookings from Sunday to Saturday (6 night, 7 day with early check in/late check out possible). Ask about multiple week rates! The rest of the year we offer minimum 3 night bookings.
