A lot of courage, sweat and energy have set things in motion. Now we can say that we have created a small oasis of well-being and tranquility. For humans and animals. Here between the seas and our Baltic Sea fjord Schlei you can live and vacation. We are happy to be able to make this kind of switching off possible for others. This farm was built in 1884. The stable building in the back of the farm was originally used as a pigsty. Upstairs, a spacious chicken coop found its place. In addition to these animals, work horses and geese were kept on the farm. The farm has about 3 hectares of land. Today the meadows are used for hay harvest and as a horse paddock. The hay harvest is in June. In the summer of 2017, we bought this farm. After a long planning phase, the renovation of the house began and was completed in 2019. In 2020, we began converting the pigsty into a horse stable. Today it houses 5 boxes and paddocks. At the same time, we have expanded the upper floor to our beautiful apartments. A long phase of construction is now coming to an end and we are so glad that everything is now ready. We are now looking forward to sharing it with others. Vacation right above the horse stable? Access to our apartments is possible via a spacious staircase. An elevator or stair lift is not provided. It should also be noted that the apartments are located directly above the horse stable. For a sensitive nose, it can feel like an odor nuisance. In summer, the horses are in the paddock. When the horses are in the stable (mid-October to mid-May continuously) there may be noises from the horses (even at night). Due to the proximity to the animals, our accommodations are not suitable for horse hair allergy sufferers. Suitable for children or families? Absolutely. You can relax wonderfully with the family here. Around the horse stable there are some green areas. Vacation with your own horse? A vacation with a horse is generally possible after consultation. Our own riding arena (20 * 40 m) is almost finished and in an absolutely secluded location. We don't have a regular or active riding operation. However, if you are interested, we can recommend and arrange riding lessons in the immediate vicinity if necessary.
