A lot of courage, sweat, and energy have made stones rolling. Now we can say we have created a little oasis of well-being and tranquility. For humans and animals. Here between the seas and our Baltic Sea fjord Schlei, you can live and take a vacation. We are looking forward to this way of being able to switch off of others. This farm is built in 1884. The stable building in back of the yard was originally used as a pigsty. Upstairs, a spacious chicken coop found its place. In addition to these animals, work horses and geese were kept in the farm. The farm has about 3ha country. Today, the meadows are used as a haystack and horse paddock. Heuernte is in June. In the summer of 2017 we bought this farm. After a long planning phase, the conversion of the residential building was completed and was able to be completed in 2019. In 2020, we started the conversion of the pigsty into a horse stable. Today it houses 5 boxes and paddocks. At the same time, we have expanded the upper floor to our beautiful apartments. A long period of construction is coming to an end and we are so glad that everything is ready now. We are now looking forward to others being part of it. Vacation just above the horse stable? Access to our apartments is possible via a spacious staircase. An elevator or stairlift is not provided. It should also be noted that the apartments are directly above the horse stable. For a sensitive nose, it can feel like odor nuisance. In summer, the horses are on the paddock. If the horses are in the stable (in mid-October until mid-May) there can be noises from the horses (even at night). Due to the proximity to the animals, the suitability of our homes is not suitable for horse hair allergy sufferers. Suitable for children or families? Absolutely. You can relax here also with the family. Around the horse stable there are some green areas. Vacation with private horse? A holiday with a horse is generally possible after consultation. Our farm-owned riding area (20 * 40 m) is almost finished and in an absolute secluded location. We do not have regular or active riding operation. However, if interested, we can recommend and mediate riding lessons in a closer area if interested.
