Cottage near the village of wintringham in the beautiful yorkshire wolds countryside 5 miles from the market town of malton - shared bathroom , aga and exposed beams , plenty of walks nearby an ideal base for exploring the coast or north york moors. On the yorkshire wolds way for anyone looking for places to stay on route. Large fenced garden and paddocks to walk dogs. Pet fee of £10.00 per trip per dog The space The bedroom has a comfortable double bed. Folding bed available for those wishing to accommodate a child in the room . The family bathroom is next to it and has a separate bath and shower cubicle. Downstairs the kitchen is kept warm by an Aga cooker You will be sharing the family bathroom, and be invited to help yourself to breakfast ( muesli and toast ) downstairs in the dining room. You are welcome to share the sitting room with me and my labrador and use the kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement . Guest access Double bedroom and shared bathroom. You are welcome to use the kitchen , dining room, sitting room and garden all shared with me and the labrador. For walkers I offer a lift to a local pub for an evening meal by prior arrangement. I can also offer pick up en route , luggage transfer and packed lunch for an additional charge and by prior arrangement. The coastliner bus runs once an hour down the A64 from malton to scarborough. The bus stop is a 15 minute walk. During your stay I am happy to interact with guests as little or as much as they would like. Other things to note Nearby attractions are numerous and include Pickering with the North York Moors Steam Railway and a medieval castle; Malton with food fairs and a traditional farmers' market; Dalby Forest; Castle Howard; Rievaulx Abbey; Thirsk (James Herriott); the seaside at Scarborough or Whitby; York; Ryedale Folk Museum; and the North York Moors.
