L'Escala is located in the bay of Rosas. It is a tourist port but preserved from the urbanization because in the middle of 2 protected sites: a seabed '(Medes Islands) and a historic site (the Greco-Roman ruins of Empuries). Many sports activities (land and sea trips, mountain biking, kite surfing, paddle ...)
