Thirkleby Warren – a relaxing rural retreat

Located in the heart of the idyllic Yorkshire Wolds, this stunning, newly refurbished, modern open plan cottage is the ideal home away from home to unwind and relax in a secluded rural setting. Adjacent to the main farmhouse on a working farm, you can enjoy the entire cottage, surrounded by natural Yorkshire countryside views. The space The ground floor has a large open plan kitchen/living area, a snug, and downstairs bathroom, utility room and entrance hall. Upstairs has a king-size master bedroom with an en-suite, a second king-size bedroom, and a third twin/quad bedroom which has two singles and two pull-out singles. The second and third bedrooms share the main bathroom. Guest access The farm is located off the public road down a gravel road (take care with low vehicles). Detailed directions will be provided after booking as finding us can be a bit tricky (which is how we like it!). There is a dedicated driveway with space for two cars but plenty more space for more vehicles if needed. Other things to note The property is an annex of the main farm house, with separate parking, patio and entrances. The space and hot water is heated by an energy efficient air source heat pump combined with underfloor heating and room thermostats (please note that this means that the hot water is not unlimited, and can take a little longer to replenish in extremely cold weather due to the lower heat pump efficiency).
