Historic moments in Hachenburg
Historic moments in Hachenburg
Description
Exclusive and only on Airbnb - our cottage for your relaxing break in the Westerwald. If you've always wanted to relax in a beautifully restored half-timbered house from 1612, you've come to the right place. Nestled in the historic old town of the town of Hachenburg, you will find the ideal environment for day trips to the Westerwald lake district, a few stages on the Westerwaldsteig or a visit to the Marienstatt Monastery with a brewery and great beer garden. The space It is an old half-timbered house and has a life of its own. The floor creaks, the ceilings are not very high and the rooms are small. But that's what makes the charm, because where else can you find 63 square meters of pure historical life on 3 floors....with a natural stone vaulted cellar for the perfectly tempered red wine. A view from the window allows the castle of Hachenburg, today the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank, or the green lung of the city, the castle garden. The perfect setting for a few relaxing days with all amenities....and plenty of peace and quiet. Other things to note The ceiling heights are of course a bit low in such an old house.....but that's what makes it really cozy and cuddly. Kitchen and living room are OK, in the bathroom and in the bedroom it gets tight from 1.90 meters height, so it means: Watch your head. But you don't notice it when you're lying down... I promise.
