Description

107 Nunnery Lane is a stylish, pet friendly townhouse with a courtyard & basement cinema. It sleeps 5 but an additional z-bed can be requested for a 6th person (£30 fee per stay). Parking is available and we're very close to the station. 107 is located off ‘Bishy Road’ (voted Britain’s best high street) with independent shops, pubs, cafes & delis. You can also rent 109 Nunnery Lane allowing bookings of up to 12. Additional £30 charge for dogs. The space We pride ourselves on being couples and family friendly and we offer as much as we can to make your stay an enjoyable one. After a fun day sight seeing you can have drinks in our sunny courtyard or chill out and watch a movie in our basement cinema (it was the original pub cellar and has a low ceiling). For the kids (or the young at heart) we even have a games room with table football. All guests are greeted with biscuits and everything needed to make a good cuppa. If you are bringing little ones we have a high chair, cot and a variety of games and books available. We always make sure we supply the basics (having ourselves been frustrated by no dishwashing liquid or bin bags at rentals). We have USB charging ports in every room as well as cleaning equipment, store cupboard basics and the bathroom has soap, shower gel and shampoo. On booking we will send you a free copy of our book, York Local Knowledge: Must-do Top Tens & the vouchers to get them for less. With it, you’ll understand the historic city of York like a local. The book has tips, top tens, and information on attractions, entertainment, food, walks, tours, and festivals. You’ll also discover where to find the best discounts and vouchers, so you can enjoy everything the city has to offer without breaking the bank! Keep in mind, this is not a guide to everything in York, you can get that from trip advisor, instead it’s over 247 pages of our favourite things and more importantly the one’s that when our guests ask, we recommend. Entrance and Hall Once you enter the townhouse from the main street you are greeted by a sense of calm and quiet before heading into the living room (or upstairs). Living, Dining & Kitchen Area As you walk into the main living area you will see: - Our two comfy couches and a lovely arm chair - A stunning wood burner with plenty of wood - Shelves and side boards packed with books and board games to entertain adults and children - A flat screen SMART TV with Netflix, Britbox and over 200 Freeview channels - Complimentary biscuits, perfect with a drink after your journey Wonder through to the kitchen and dining area (its open plan) and you'll see you have everything you need to make proper family meals, picnics or to serve up a takeaway.
