Description
The 3-Bed property (a bungalow) was inherited by my sister and I from our late mother, who lived there for 30 years. It is a lovely light spacious house with a large natural garden. Sudbourne is a small village/hamlet (without shop or pub) about two miles from Orford in one direction and four miles from Snape (and The Maltings) in the other. The house is at the end of drive so away from the road. Due to there being many delicate items and old furniture we are unable to accommodate children. The space The property is ideal for nature lovers, having Suffolk Wildlife land adjoining on two sides. Forest walks are within walking distance. There are signs of wear, particularly on some of the soft furnishings - but they are of good quality, clean and still with plenty of life left. Pets, within reason and by prior permission, are welcome. There are two bathrooms, both with baths, and with showers overhead. There are three WCs in total - one in the Utility room - set apart from the house by a porch. Bedrooms contain Super King, King and Single beds. Two have washhand basins. Guest access Guests will have use of the whole house. There is a summerhouse and studio in the garden. There are ornaments around and a wide range of books on nature subjects. Other things to note There is good Wifi connection and four TVs (just the basic channels). There is also a woodburner. Our mother was a nature-loving individual and guests of the same ilk will get the most out of their visit.
