Seagull cottage is a former Victorian coastguard cottage The cottage has been recently renovated and now boasts a stunning interior decorated simply and beautifully. However it is not the interior that is the major boast. The cottage has the beach for its back garden. Stunning views across the English Channel. Sandgate is a sought after location and there are a number of coffee shops and restaurants within minutes of the front door. Ideal for a relaxing or very active stay- your choice! The space The cottage has a large living/dining room with views through the two rear widows to the sea and beyond. There is a comfy sofa and chair. Fast internet access which can be used to access TV channels. Dining table and four chairs provide space for eating and enjoying the view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is bar stool seating at one of the windows. There are two bedrooms with the rear double looking directly over the sea. The bathroom has a separate shower. The second bedroom has a single bed and spare mattress if required but the cottage is really ideally suited to a couple. On street parking is available close by and off street at a daily charge. There is an enclosed patio to the rear with seating and lounging chairs available. Other things to note We are very happy to have dogs visiting. We have had many well behaved four legged friends stay and we have a well trained cocker spaniel ourselves. However please note -Dogs are not allowed on the beach directly behind the cottage from 1st May to 31st September. The beach is dog friendly a short walk along the prom. The shared area beyond our patio is not fully fenced and the sea wall is low enough for some dogs to jump over.
