Luxury vakantiebungalow Casa Cranenweyer

Casa Cranenweyer is a modern, luxury bungalow built in June 2020 and is located in a dead-end street directly on the edge of the forest of the Anstel Valley. Our casa is named after "De Cranenweyer", the only reservoir in the Netherlands, which is located in the middle of the Anstel Valley. At the front, you walk directly into the woods towards the reservoir, where the beautiful 14th-century Erenstein Castle is also located. A buzzard flying back to its nest, the rattle of the great spotted woodpecker, or frogs croaking. In this place, you almost become one with nature. At the back, you have a beautiful terrace overlooking our curious deer, alpacas, pigs, goats and chickens. The Casa is furnished with a lot of love and attention and equipped with every comfort. Imagine yourself in 1001 nights with four-poster beds, filigree lamps and oriental mirrors. In the luxurious bathroom, we have a bathtub in which you can relax after long walks. For the quick enjoyers, there is also a spacious walk-in shower with rain shower. The modern toilet is located in the hallway. The beautiful high-gloss white kitchen has a dishwasher, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, a combi oven and an induction cooktop. For coffee lovers, we have a Nespresso machine (or a Senseo if desired). The seating area has a corner sofa that you can pull out to relax. Our Ambilight TV provides even more atmosphere while watching TV, and through the connected Chromecast you can use your own streaming services from any supported device. In addition, there are several streaming services available for guests to use. The pellet fireplace provides pleasant warmth and an extra cozy atmosphere. In bedroom 1, there is a double bed and a wardrobe. In bedroom 2, there are two single four-poster beds, which can also be combined into a large double four-poster bed on request. There is also a large wardrobe in this room. Did you bring too few clothes? There is a (shared) laundry room where you can use a washing machine and dryer. An ironing board and iron are also provided. Towels, dish towels and bedding are included. Important information about VAT increase as of 2026: The Dutch government is considering increasing the VAT rate on tourist accommodation from 9% to 21% as of January 1, 2026. Since Airbnb does not currently support this change in pricing settings, the current 9% VAT will be charged on all bookings for 2026. If the government actually decides to increase VAT, an additional charge of €12 per night will be charged for bookings in 2026. This amount will be settled afterwards through the Airbnb Resolution Center. We will keep our guests informed of any changes and thank you for your understanding. Guest access There is a parking space for several cars at the front of our casa. In addition, the Chevremont train station is within walking distance (10 min). Other things to note If desired, we can provide a baby cot and high chair. Of course, there are no additional fees.
