The house in Lalaland

You’ll love my place because it is on top of a mountain where you are surrounded by fruit orchids and mountains. Also, loadshedding does not affect us as we are on solar. We are only 160km from Cape town. We live right next door but do not mind a good party, all within limits of course! The dam is a short walk away where you are welcome to use the two paddle boards and canoe. The house can keep you entertained with pool table, boardgames, books, WIFI, ping pong table and Soundsystem. The space The house is spacious, and it has everything you will need. It is an old house, and you will not find anything fancy. House is rustic and rough around the edges but like I said spacious,clean and comfortable to host 11 people. On the stoep where the braai is there are steep steps to go outside. The outside area is rocky and trees. No place to play football or a ride a bike. A short hike will get you to the dam where you are welcome to use the paddle boards and canoe. The front of the house is basically our driveway. House has 4 bedrooms. Main bedroom has a double bed and two single beds with an un suite bathroom. Another 2 rooms with double beds. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. There is a separate bathroom with shower and bath, as well as a separate toilet. Kitchen has two fridges, dishwasher an old small gas stove. Outside is a braai. Living area has a pool table, board games, dining table and a lounge. There is also a fireplace. Guest access As I mentioned we live right next door on the same property. We share the same driveway which will be the front of the house. You are welcome to walk around on our property and to the dam. Its notable to say there are no trails and its not very big. Also not suitable for bicycle's. If you want to cycle on the road you are welcome to. If you would like to venture further we can have a chat when you are here. Also if you are into mountain biking and hiking there is a farm on the mountain that has a lovely trail for both. Info can be given if interested. Our place is not fenced off. Other things to note We have three dogs and a cat that roam free on the property. They are friendly and love to walk to the dam with the guests. Please do not feed my dogs anything. When you go for a walk we please ask you to not litter. We recycle so we ask that you please keep your glass, cans and clean plastic in the clear bags provided. As we are on solar we should not be bothered with loadshedding, but during loadshedding we ask that you refrain from using high voltage devices like hairdryers. Please do not fiddle with the gas geyser, the settings are at its best. There is a lovely farmers market on the mountain the last weekend of every month. It is an early market so get there soonest. Also bring cash for this. Please note we do not allow day visitors!
