Cosy under-dwelling near Holmfirth & the Peak District with access to Sheffield, Leeds & Manchester. Private parking & the Trans Pennine Trail on the doorstep, with great walks & cycling routes nearby. Minutes to a pub & bakery. TV with Firestick, games, & a vast selection of books. Well-equipped kitchen plus breakfast basics (tea, coffee, croissants, jam). Camp bed for up to two children or adults under 5’6” (please check if booking four adults). Dogs welcome by arrangement (£20 per dog) The space It's one of the smallest dwellings in Thurlstone, which isn't a bad thing as it's just perfect for 1-3 guests and easy to keep warm and cosy. A quiet little under-dwelling with loads of character and a pretty, rural view. The building is listed, built in 1840, plenty of roadside parking. Guest access You'll have access to the whole house, including living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. There is an outdoor seating area. There's a desk if you want to work which doubles up as an eating area, a cosy lounging area and a convenient kitchen. There is a hanging area for clothes and towels too. Other things to note If 4 guests are staying be aware that all the beds will be in the one bedroom and separated by a dividing curtain. 1 bed is a double (2 adults) and the camp beds are for children. 3 adults and 1 child may be permitted but you may feel it's a tight squeeze (also, please check first). Cleaning fee partial reimbursement offer to guests paying full rate (£60 a night and above) who leave it well. More details in the manual when you arrive. Dog owners – please check with me before booking ❤️ • £20 per dog (or for two small dogs) • Dogs are not allowed upstairs • Dogs are not permitted on furniture, except the lounge chair under the bookshelf (definitely not the red sofa!) • Dogs must never be left alone in the property, unless they are settled and happy in a crate Please note that guests are asked to put their own bedding and towels by the washing machine on the day of departure. The washing machine is not available for guest use, and there is no tumble dryer available. Due to the size of the accommodation, laundry and indoor drying aren’t suitable. If this may be an issue, please contact me before booking so we can discuss alternatives.
