Spacious and well-appointed, this detached property is situated in the scenic Cotswold village of Bledington, within the Evenlode Valley and close to the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border. The village is on the Oxfordshire Way, a 68-mile long distance walk stretching from Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire to Henley-on-Thames in Buckinghamshire. Bledington has it own annual three-day music festival in the summer, when morris dancers can be seen in the village centre. The village makes a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Close by are Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Witney, Bicester with its expanding designer outlet shopping village, Banbury, and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock. Slightly further afield are Cheltenham, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. The railway station at Kingham is only 1 mile away with connections to Worcester, Hereford, Paddington in London, and Birmingham, so you can leave the car behind if you prefer.
