Description
Beach House Recently Refurbished, light, bright and brilliantly situated right on the Beach in the small village of Cruden Bay 26 miles North of Aberdeen. Bram Stroker himself holidayed in Cruden Bay back in the late 1800's and many believe that the Local Slains castle inspired Dracula. Also, right on the doorstep of this unique property is the World Famous Championship Golf Course featuring a par 70 Links Course. The space My motto "Mi casa es tu casa" - "my house is your house" I use this property for myself, family and friends. Personally it has such a great feeling to it. There is something very special about living right on the beach and breathing in that fresh sea air everyday. I love the way the weather changes the surroundings of the water and beach and no matter what type of weather the view never gets boring. The house is to be enjoyed, please feel free to use all kitchen equipment and if cooking is not your thing there are some fantastic places to eat in Cruden Bay. The Kilmarnock Arms hotel - fantastic meals and friendly staff. The Golf club and its elevated position allows views right over the course and the beach with views of Slains castle perched eerliy on the cliffs Slains Castle sits high on the cliffs above the village and is easily accessed along one of the walking coastal paths that the area has to offer and is most definitely worth a look. If you enjoy walking the coastal paths continue on from the Castle heading North, you will find yourself in the Fishing Town of Peterhead, If you head along the South coastal path you will find yourself heading towards Newburgh. I have done both walks many times and each time it amazes me just how beautifully rugged our coastline is. In Novemeber 2015 Cruden Bay Golf club was presented with the Scottish Gold Tourism award for the Top Course in Scotland and is also rated 54th in the World. Also a few miles away is the new Trump International Golf Course The village has a little Local shop if you find yourself in need of some supplies, there is also a coffee shop and a postoffice. Other things to note There is no disabled access. The access path is loose stones with three steps up to property. The access path is open to the public but you can park there
