⭑ Fairytale House - Enchanted Getaway in Bospark

Artistic chalet in the Bospark Ijsselheide situated next to beautiful forest walking/biking trails with heather fields and wild grazing cows. Recently upgraded with central heating so your stay can be as cozy as you want. You can arrive by train at the Wezep train station or by car with free easy parking right next to the house. Supermarkets and swimming and sauna are minutes away by bike and the city of Zwolle is just one train stop away. The space We believe vacation should be anything but ordinary. Escape to a Fairytale world of bold colors, ornate vintage furniture, art, nature, sustainability, self-care and sunshine. Whether it’s long walks through the forest picking berries, listening to music while making a home cooked meal, cuddling in front of the fireplace, falling asleep with a good book, restorative yoga in the garden room, unplugging and focus on your creative project, cozy candlelit evenings or fresh morning coffee. Everyone is welcome, always. You enter the house through the garden room where there are live plants and fish ponds with trickling fountains. In the front yard is a mushroom garden and fruit trees. The garden room may be too cold to use in the coldest months but most times of year it is a lovely spot to eat, do yoga or read a book. There is a standing heater in the garden room for extra comfort when it is cold. The main house is warm enough year round because of our brand new central heating upgrade. The living room has a cozy electric fireplace which has a quiet almost inaudible hum ensuring that you can have the room as toasty as you like in the winter months. The kitchen has pots and pans and most essentials for cooking or making tea or coffee. We are so excited about the newly remodeled bathroom. We do have hot water in the shower and sink, and complimentary shower gel and towels are provided. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed perfect for couples. The second bedroom has bunk beds which are great for children or friends. We provide complimentary bedding and the beds will be made for you when you arrive. The garden is fully enclosed with a wooden fence ensuring that your four-legged companions do not wander too far. The house hosts live-in art exhibitions including the current exhibition of the New Light series by Daniel Douglas. Guest access I will provide a code for the key box located at the entrance of the house just before your stay. You are welcome to self check-in any time at or after 15:00. From that time you will have the entire house and private garden to yourself. Other things to note Frequently Asked Questions: Is the house warm enough (in the winter)? We just upgraded to a central heating system in October of 2024. Please set the heating to your desired temperature using the thermostat in the kitchen. Central heating includes a heater in the main living space, both bedrooms and a towel heater in the bathroom. We also have an electric fireplace in the living room for some added gezelligheid. With the upgraded heating, guests can be as cozy and warm as they want during the colder months. :) Is the garden room warm enough (in the winter)? The garden room stays a bit warmer than outside in the winter because of the natural warming greenhouse effect of the space. On colder days it is best to stay in the main part of the house. The garden room is an indoor/outdoor space. Where can I park? There are several free parking options around the park, but the most convenient parking is just a few houses down from the Fairytale House. You can find the parking by searching "Fairytale House Hattemerbroek" in your maps. You will be guided to follow a small gravel road. From there you will pass the house and just a little bit further down this gravel road is the parking area. This is the easiest way to enter the park and access the house. How do I check in? The day before your check in, a key code and some instructions will be provided. The code changes after every check out. A map is available in the listing's photos. Are towels provided? Towels, kitchen towels and bedding are provided. Is there a crib or high chair for young children? We provide a high chair and a safety guard for the bottom bed in the bunk bed room which is suitable for children 18 months to 5 years old upon request. Please just let us know if you will have a baby or young child with you. What type of coffee machine do we have? We recently upgraded to a Dolce Gusto machine which takes coffee capsules. The machine can make a wide variety of coffee beverages from espresso to iced coffee. I hope you enjoy! Is there a microwave? There is a microwave/grill as well as pots and pans, and other cooking utensils. If there is something you expect to have that is not provided, let us know and we will make sure it is available in the future. Is there a refrigerator? We do have a refrigerator but please be aware that we do not have a freezer. Is there a heater? Yes since October 2024 there is central heating in the house. The thermostat is in the kitchen. There is also an electric fireplace in the living room. With the new heating system you can make the house as warm and cozy as you want. Is the garden fully fenced? The garden is now fully enclosed with a wooden fence ensuring your four-legged companions do not wander too far. Do I need to feed the fish? You can feed the fish if you like, but you do not need to. The fish eat small pieces of the surrounding plants that run through the aquaponic system. The housekeeper also feeds the fish between stays.
