CLOSEST rental to the beach at Hideaway Bay Our townhouse has the master suite upstairs with a King size bed and private full bathroom. On the main level we have the 2nd bedroom with Bunkbeds. The bunkbed offers a Full size bed over a Full size bed with a Full size pull out trundle. The second bedroom has a full bath in the adjacent hallway that can be made private by simply closing the door to the hall. The main level also has the living room with a brand new fold out double sleeper bed. The fully stocked kitchen and dining area with seating for six, create the 'great room' that is the main living area of the townhouse. The family room has a flat screen television with DirectTV service. Attached to the living area is a screened in porch with table and chairs that looks directly out onto the beach. At the end of the day relax on the screened patio to watch the most beautiful sunsets on Florida's west coast. Our unit is the CLOSEST rental to the beach in all of Hideaway Bay Beach Club with island decor just recently redecorated in 2014. Below the main level is an enclosed storage area that houses the golf cart, charcoal grill, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, kayak and many more island friendly items for your enjoyment. The lower level also has an outdoor shower and wash area. It is very popular to enjoy the shade that is offered under the unit to relax and wind down at the end of the day. After the sun goes down enjoy a movie or play a board game with your family from the large library. Spend your vacation on a boat access ONLY island. No bridges, cars, malls...(no commercial interest) distinctly different, by design. No high-rises, OLD FLORIDA... the last of it's kind. Catch our private Ferry to shuttle you across the ICW to the pristine Little Gasparilla Island. (Named for the legendary...Jose' Gaspar the infamous pirate) This island is for those that want to 'GET AWAY FROM IT ALL' This 7 mile island is known worldwide for the spectacular shells that wash up daily. On a typical day walking the beach you may only encounter a few other people. One third of the island is a State Park so the density on the island is extremely low. Enjoy your day walking on the beach, basking in the sun, taking a golf cart ride around the island to see the eclectic historic homes and beach cottages. Make friends with all of the critters that call the island home.... Osprey, Gopher tortoise, Great Blue Heron, beach crabs, sand pipers, and just off shore, the world's best Tarpon fishing as well as Red Fish and Snook. A very short walk to the beach is an evening ritual on the island to watch the sun set slowly into the horizon. The darkness of the island will then give way to some of the best star gazing that city dwellers will ever see. There is practically no light pollution on the island. Some may even be lucky enough to witness the magnificent Loggerhead Turtles laying their eggs. A short five minute ride back to the mainland on our Ferry will bring you within a half mile of the causeway to the luxurious island of Boca Grande, a popular vacation spot for the rich and famous. (former presidents, movie stars, recording artist (Rock & country), film producers, Corporate moguls ... you never know who you will see) Fine dining, shopping and sightseeing await you there. Paradise, heaven on earth, island life, Hideaway Bay... by any name, it is a vacation you will want to return to as soon as you are able.
