Individually and comfortably furnished "Premium Eco-Apartment" for 2-4 people in tastefully developed Resthof with fantastic garden. Very quiet. Various outdoor seating, depending on the sun's position and personal preferences. In the middle of the Lauenburg Lake District, 4.5 km to Lake Schaal, 4 km to the nearest swimming area at Lake Piper. 10 minutes to Mölln or Ratzeburg, 30 minutes to Lübeck, 45 minutes to Hamburg and Schwerin. Accessible by public transportation. Bus outside the door. The space The ground-floor, wheelchair-accessible apartment with 4 doors to the outside (entrance, kitchen, living room, bedroom), 2 of them facing south into the front garden, 2 to the back to the courtyard, was expanded in June 2019 with ecological materials. Poroton bricks, wood soft fiber insulation materials, 2 clay plaster walls, oak planks (everywhere except bathroom), natural slate (bathroom ), Danish wooden windows and doors with stitching sheets as well as a fireplace ensure a cozy feel-good climate. Warm in winter, cool in hot summers. Super equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven and everything you need. 2 people have it very generous here on the 50 sqm. Up to two more people can fit on the 140 cm wide sofa bed. Several fireplaces and grills can be used on the yard. We have chickens, geese, free-range ducks, a dog and a cat on the farm. You can watch the animals from the farm and enjoy them, but they are far enough away not to disturb the (nightly) holiday rest. Running ducks (great fun-makers) run directly through the garden. A large sandbox in the shade of two old cherry trees, on which a swing and hammock hang, invites children and families to play. Overall, the farm is a special paradise for children, toddlers and families (for couples and single travelers anyway). We are happy to help you rent bicycles. Accessible by bus from Hamburg, Büchen station, Ratzeburg or Mölln central bus station, unfortunately only during the week. Since we offer another apartment on the farm ("Cozy swallow's nest, roof terrace, rest yard") as well as a room, it is also attractive for several families or small groups. Other things to note Our rest farm is inhabited by 4 generations. Irid and I live in the main apartment on the ground floor, forward, towards "Altes Dorfstraße 26". My parents, Henriette (86) and Manfred (88), live above us. In July 2021, the apartment for our eldest son Janek, our daughter-in-law Anna and our grandchildren Eliel (5) and Aaron (3) was expanded in the former hayloft above the threshing floor. Meanwhile, our daughter Jule also lives in the horse stable apartment with her husband Marian and the two children Fion (3) and Madita (1). We have a dog, a cat, geese, chickens and free-range ducks. A large, deep and beautiful sandbox (where our elder already played) inspires the children. Overall, the farm with its buildings, open spaces, seating areas, (fruit) trees, roses, flower and vegetable garden looks like a small, self-contained world. This world includes liveliness and encounters, but also peace and quiet, opportunity for community as well as retreat and "being in itself".
