Double en-suite room & cosy lounge with breakfast

The Rowan Suite is self-contained within my house, giving you quiet, private accommodation . It is an ensuite double bedroom with king size bed plus your own unique lounge, overlooking garden and woodland. There is car parking and bike storage and is only a short walk from Stocksfield rail station and bus routes. Great base for trips to Hadrian’s Wall, historic properties, Northumberland National Park and the nearby towns of Corbridge and Hexham. A hamper of breakfast goodies is provided. The space The price includes breakfast. To maintain your comfort and social distancing, all breakfast items will be stocked into the fridge before your arrival. This will include granola, organic yoghurts, fresh fruit and delicious bread with a selection of jams and butter. There will be fresh milk and fruit juice - and a good stock of coffee, tea and herb teas. You'll have the convenience of having breakfast at whatever time you please ... or even taking it back to bed for that real holiday vibe! I am following the AirBnB enhanced cleaning protocols and additional cleaning products will be left in the suite for your use while you are here, to help assure your comfort. I will meet you outside the house to ensure social distancing and show you the way to the space and answer any queries you may have. Unless there's any problem, we don't need further interaction, but I'll make sure you have my phone number in case of queries. You'll have a key to the door and will be able to come and go as you please. The Rowan Suite is the upstairs of a recent extension. It is reached by a separate staircase from that in the main house, so there is an instant feeling of privacy. The staircase opens into a lovely lounge, full of light and with a cosy woodburner for cooler days. The bedroom, with its ensuite shower room, is through a door from the living room. The view, which many guests comment on, is over woodland and gardens, and is very tranquil and green. It gives a timeless sense of being right in the countryside, yet you are only a 5 minute walk from Stocksfield railway station. The living room for guests has a bi-fold door and Juliette balcony , and when fully open the whole room becomes almost an outdoor space. Lovely for lazing in the sun or watching the night sky! The house is also home to two dogs. There is a kettle and toaster - and a fridge which will be stocked with breakfast items. Guests are welcome to bring picnic type feasts and takeaway food for other meals if not eating out. Crockery will be provided and replenished daily - I do all your washing up! Guest access The Rowan Suite is completely for guest use and is self-contained within my house. The is a shared entrance hall but the suite has its own internal doors which separate it from other areas of the house, so it is self contained. I will meet you outside the house to ensure social distancing and show you the way to the space and answer any queries you may have.
