TWV Tower is the second floor of a two-story home. You can also rent the bottom (TWV Haven) and top (TWV Tower) floors together (separate units/entrances) - Inquire for Airbnb links. Springdale is a small town with an abundance of excellent locally-owned restaurants & shops within walking distance! Zion National Park is a gorgeous southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon's steep, red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River, perfect for exploring and photographing. The Virgin River flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is the famous Zion Narrows wading hike! Updated March 2022 Below are some insider tips and recommendations for exploring Zion, from us locals and our previous guests, to help you make the most of your visit! If you’re interested in any guidance, tours, or rentals, see suggestions below, and be sure to book in advance. There are two shuttle lines. The Springdale shuttle system is running daily for the 2022 season, it’s FREE, and stop #4 is at the street in front of The Watchman View rentals. A bus should come by every 10-15 minutes. There are usually two buses that loop from Shuttle Stop 9 at Majestic View Lodge, to Shuttle Stop 1 at the Zion Canyon Village (Zion pedestrian entrance). The second shuttle system is in Zion National Park, loads & departs daily from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, and it’s also free. The Zion Canyon Shuttle runs from the Zion NP visitor center up the Scenic Drive to destinations like the Zion Lodge and trailheads, including Emerald Pools, West Rim Trail, and Temple of Sinawava (where hikers depart for the Narrows). Masks continue to be required on shuttles. NOTE: When the in-park shuttle (through Zion Canyon) is in operation, you can still drive through the park on Zion-Mount Carmel Highway/State Route 9 (vehicle size restrictions apply), but private vehicles are not allowed to enter the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. For an ideal introduction, check out the Zion Visitors Center, take a majestic stroll along the paved Pa’rus Trail along the Virgin River then, take the Watchman Trail, a magnificent moderate hike bringing you even closer to the gorgeous peak that inspired the name of our rentals. Afterward, take the Zion Canyon Shuttle to explore those beautiful parts of the park! If there’s no parking near the Visitor Center, take the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway/State Route 9, where you can stop at pull-offs for beautiful photos until you’re way up into Zion & through the tunnel (vehicle size restrictions apply). Just past the tunnel is the Canyon Overlook Trail, which is a moderate, breathtaking hike! Keep going along the highway and you can recreate at pull-offs all the way to the east entrance of the park. Your best resource for in-park trail conditions is available on Zion’s National Park Service site: https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit. Many active guests have also hiked to (and even through) the park, or rented bikes at either Zion Cycles (zioncycles.com) or Zion Guru (zionguru.com/ebikeszion) in Springdale or, picked them up on their way, at Over the Edge Sports in Hurricane (otesports.com/locations/hurricane). Driving down Kolob Terrace Road (KTR) is another ideal outing (especially when the south/main entrance to the park is super busy). Views from KTR alone are worth it and you’ll have access to more hikes along your way. Many of our guests have also loved booking with the following local businesses.
