The Granary, Old Town Farm, Otterburn

The Granary is located on a working farm in the heart of Northumberland's International Dark Sky Park. It has kitchen/living area upstairs to make the most of the fabulous views. This cottage has access to a nearby EV car charger Changeover day for week- long stays is a Friday It is a perfect hideaway for two with a cosy log burning fire, original beams, real wood floors and a lovely flower-filled garden. Great for friends sharing too, having 2 separate bathrooms The space Pleas note, changeover day is Friday and week-long stays apply between May to October You will love the location and the quirky cottage with its fabulous views. You will love the peace and quiet, relaxing and watching the woodpeckers come to the bird feeders or gazing up at star-filled skies on clear nights. You will love the cosy sitting room with its log burning stove. You will enjoy exploring the many walks, cycle routes and historic sites in the local area and maybe rounding the day off with an evening in one of the friendly local pubs You will definitely relax and unwind! The second bedroom has a king-sized bed, the main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower , there is also a separate bathroom. The house is perfect for couples sharing or maybe best as a hideaway for 2! Children must be over 7 please and prepared to share a king size bed! If you wish to bring a very well behaved, small dog then please ask before booking. My other holiday cottage, the Hemmel, has a securely fenced garden and is much more suitable for dogs. Other things to note For anyone hoping to find high speed wi - fi , techy entertainment or a smart TV in the cottage , maybe look elsewhere. We offer books and wonderful views , a large garden with seating and walks on the farm ( but not during April/ May lambing season) . In short , a large dose of peace and tranquility
