The Cottage

Beautiful & comfortable heritage cottage in the historic town of Prince Albert. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time! The space The Cottage is an original farm building, built in 1852. The building offers original features from this period, with a very beautiful bound latte ceiling throughout. There is an indoor wood-burning stove, outdoor weber braai, outdoor shower, and 'stoep' from where to enjoy an unspoilt view of the garden and Karoo mountains in the distance. The garden offers fruit to be plucked and eaten most of the year round. In the garden you'll find a mangoes, guavas, various citrus, quince, olives, mulberries, grapes, chillis, curry leaf, and apples. The Cottage is on the same property as The Farmhouse - both buildings are private and freestanding with uninterrupted views - but share the large garden.
