Cottage in Suffolk

The Old Hall Cow Shed is located on an idyllic organic smallholding surrounded by woodland in the beautiful Broads National Park. It is ideal for a family break, for small groups of cyclists or walkers or for a quiet break for a couple. It is fully equipped but does NOT have a TV. There are games, books, music, fresh air and an amazing pub just 15 minutes walk across the marshes. The accommodation has solar PV, solar water heating, a wood burning stove and is insulated with sheep's wool. The space We are an organic smallholding, self sufficient in vegetables, fruit and other produce. We can usually provide seasonal fruit and vegetables and freshly baked bread on request. We are at the end of a long track and it is quiet and peaceful here with fantastic wildlife and dark night skies. In the winter we provide one large basket of logs for each visit and can supply further baskets at £5 each. Guest access The annex is a detached former cowshed and dairy building that was converted to residential use in 2006. It is located on a working smallholding. It has a garden area with table and chairs and washing lines for guests use. Other things to note The hosts live in part of the main house which is situated close by. We have neighbours who live along the track so we ask you to drive slowly and considerately on the track.
