The space Yellow Bird Apartment is located at the first floor; it's possible to access to it through a wooden deck from where it's possible to admire the blue ocean and to have unforgettable breakfast, lunch or dinner at open air. It is exposed to the East/North-East and it gets pleasure from a constant breeze; it is also very quite and it's facing on the wild garden rich of coconut palms and banana trees, where sometimes with a stroke of luck you can even admire the local green monkeys while regularly the yellow bird which gave the name to the apartment. Nearly every day you can admire the small and fast humming-bird which suck the nectar's flowers of the surrounding garden. The apartment is constituted by a living/kitchen area with all the necessary comforts: dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, cups, fridge, freezer, gas stove with 4 gas burners and oven, toaster, iron and all the necessary items to render the kitchen operative for every need. There is a double queen sofa-bed which can be used also for 2 more people and a comfortable and fresh double queen bed-room with bed side tables and a little bathroom with hair dryer, toilette wash basin and shower. We offer for free: the fastest High Speed internet connection on the island with OPTICAL FIBER (Wi-Fi with 120-260 MBps of Speed in download) with also 2 different separated connections. Air Extras/Supplements/Obligatory: - Baby-cot/Crib and high chair available at a 10 USD per night supplement for both of them (to be paid on the spot). - Air Conditioning (obligatory if chosen) available at a night supplement of 10 USD (max 12 hours) or 15 USD for day and night (guests needs to turn it off always when leaving the apartment). This is a self catering apartment, but we change the bathroom towels every 3-4 days and the bed linen every 7 days. All windows are with mosquito screen, venetian blinds and curtains; 110/220 volt plugs (American, Canadian, English, Italian, German and French sockets) are available. There are two ceiling fans, a safe, electric iron with ironing board, books, an information guide book of the place and Barbados island with excursion leaflets, brochures and maps. We are 2.6 Km./5 minutes far by car from Oistins, where you can find the famous Fish Market, the biggest super market, shops, banks etc., and 15 minutes by car from San Lawrence Gap (5.3 km.) with shops, bars and good restaurants. We have the nearest bus stop at few minutes by walk from the Cottage and a 24/24 taxi service. There are also 2 small groceries close to the bus stop only few minutes by walk.
