On a spacious 300 sqm living space in our thatched cottage "Eider Cottage" there is plenty of space to play and relax. With two combinable apartments for up to 16 guests, you have many options for your stay near the Eider. The space Original and cozy - yet modern and spacious. A dream under thatched roofs. The lovingly restored thatched cottage from 1860 is one of the most beautiful buildings in the western part of the village of Süderstapel, whose image is characterized by an ensemble of thatched historic buildings. On a spacious 300 square meters of living space, which is spread over floors, you will find a lot of freedom for your family or your circle of friends in this holiday home - in the garden, another 1,200 square meters of lawn and terrace space invite you to play and relax. Parking spaces for three to four vehicles are available in front of the house. Vacation home for up to 16 people: Due to its extraordinary spaciousness, the Eider Cottage offers the ideal setting for an extended weekend with friends, a team event or a holiday with the extended family with up to 16 people. Ground floor apartment: The center of the ground floor apartment is the spacious barn with a large dining area for up to 12 people and a fireplace. The adjoining kitchen (Siematic) is of course fully equipped. On colder days, a fireplace spreads cozy warmth in the living area. Three bedrooms can accommodate a total of 6 people, in the living room there is a spacious sofa bed for two more guests. A full bathroom with an old English bathtub and underfloor heating adjoins the master bedroom. Another shower room is located next to the bedroom in the old stable. Upstairs apartment: The upstairs apartment impresses with its 60-square-meter combined living-dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen, views of the Eider and up to 6 meters high. There is also a sofa bed (1.4 x 2 m), a TV/music corner and a large table for 8 people. In the rear sleeping area are the master bedroom with a 2 meter wide double bed, a children's room with sleeping accommodations for two to three adults and a toddler (crib) and two bathrooms. One is equipped with a large corner bathtub, the other with a rain shower. "Jungbullenzimmer": As a cozy sleeping area under the roof for the young at heart and teenagers, the 'young bull room' offers two sleeping places on a futon bed (1.60 x 2.00 meters), one on a single bed (0.8 x 2 meters) and space for additional air mattresses. The room can be reached either via a ladder with the bedroom below with a shower room in the pigsty or - quite conventionally - via the staircase. Guest access Linen sets (towels and bed linen) can be rented for €15 per person. Parking spaces for three to four vehicles are available in front of the house. Other things to note In the high season, we only rent the house weekly (mid-June to early September and Christmas/New Year's Eve).
