Shabby chic, Selent, Selent Lake and near the Baltic Sea

The "Lindenhaus" dates back to the 1930s, has been authentically renovated and furnished in shabby chic style. It is located on the outskirts of the village in a traffic-calmed zone. The place offers an Aldi, Edeka, bakery, pharmacy and restaurants. It is located on a lake, and the Baltic Sea is about 20 km away. Nature lovers in particular will get their money's worth here (many nature reserves). Bike tours can be taken on quiet paths to farm cafes and manor houses. The space The Lindenhaus is part of a former workers' house in Blomenburg. During the renovation, the house was equipped with many elements in a retro look (fridge, light switches, tiles). Some original parts, such as the box windows and the doors from the 1930s, were also deliberately preserved. The furnishings are lovingly assembled; a mix of modern furniture and antique pieces, or individual pieces treated with chalk paints. The bathroom and kitchen have been completely redesigned. The small garden offers various seating areas, including a covered outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a meal or a glass of wine in any weather. The house is particularly suitable for 2 couples, as there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (bathroom 1 with a shower in the bathtub, bathroom 2 with a shower). From September to the end of May, the price listed is for the lower floor for one to two guests. (The upper floor is then not used for anything else. Guests have the rest of the house to themselves.) If you would like to occupy the entire house during this time, at least three people must be specified. From June through August, the stated price refers to the entire house. If there is a booking gap of less than one week, only the lower floor (2 people) can be rented. From November to mid-March, only the lower floor can be booked for two people. Upon request, a third person can be accommodated on the daybed in the living room during this time. The platform charges a service fee of 15.5%, which unfortunately is no longer shown transparently as of late. It is already included in the price. Guest access The house is available for exclusive use. Other things to note There is a staircase in the house that is problematic for smaller children. That's why we only rent to families with children over 6 years old. A high-speed data volume of 12 GB per week is available free of charge. Electric cars cannot be charged via the in-house power grid as it would be overloaded.
