Description
With a private entrance for your room, We managed to accomplish a spa like feel for your stay. Serenity and Tranquility are mirror image rooms with a kitchenette between. Each have their own ensuite and soaker tub. We use all top end linen for the ultimate experience. We want to ensure you have a great visit to we go all out & we stop at nothing to make your stay luxurious. With a comp'd continental breakfast, many folks enjoy their balcony overlooking the Water & wildlife. The space Private and beautiful room with all your needs met. Our ensuite has a large glass shower and a soaker bathtub. Private access to your deck overlooking the waterway and backyard. Hiking trails across the water so loads of privacy. Kitchenette is shared with other room Guest access One complimentary parking spot per room. Entry is through the front door and up the stairs. This is a private entrance for the two rooms upstairs. We are located across from vineyards and back on to a waterway. There are multiple wineries within walking/biking distance. The town center of Virgil is a short walk down the street and includes a sports bar, winery restaurant and a few other restaurants. There is also a grocery store, an antique store and many other stores to meet all of your needs. During your stay My cell will be sent to you upon confirmation of booking. Please know texting is best. You can always knock on the main floor door for help at anytime you wish. Other things to note For guests who like nature, this is a perfect room for you. Boasting an extremely comfortable Queen size bed, Serenity is a beautiful room with a gorgeous ensuite and an awesome deck. Overlooking the waterway, your welcome to come enjoy a secondary deck that cantilevers the dock which overlooks the conservation area and 4 mile creek reservoir. There is too much wildlife to even list, but turtles galore, egrets, blue herons, even our bald eagle. Please let us know if you want to enjoy the back yard so we can make it as private as possible for you :) We have kayaks and a paddle boat (seasonal) but you do need to check with us before using them for an information exchange re; laws and life jackets, etc. Other things to note During peak season (mid-June to end-September) it is recommended that you make reservations for dinner and wine tours well in advance as the restaurants tend to get busy and wine tour companies tend to be fully booked. The Niagara on the Lake Golf Course is 9-hole par 36 link styled course and has the oldest operating Golf Club House in North America. The Club House is open to general public for all meals. The golf course gets busy during season and it is best to book your Tee Times well in advance (possibly 2 plus months in advance). If you enjoy theater, we recommend that you look into the performances staged by NOTL's Shaw Theater. Purchasing tickets well in advance and for multiple shows is likely to get you better prices. The town also has a number of wineries, vineyards, a variety of orchards as well as some breweries. A few of the wineries and vineyards are located along the Niagara Parkway which also serves as a nice place to cycle or walk along or have a picnic. NOTL is also very congenial to cyclists - both recreational and performance related. Niagara Falls is only a 15 minute drive when taking the scenic Niagara Parkway/River Road route and some guests also cycle to the falls and some even to Fort Erie via the Niagara Parkway (about 60 kilometers one way). The Niagara Parkway/River Road runs parallel to the Niagara River from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Along the Niagara Parkway/River Road, enroute to and at the Niagara Falls, some of the key attractions you may wish to consider looking into are Fort George and a few other historic buildings/sites (Laura Secord Homestead, Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum, ....), the Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the whirlpool golf course, the Niagara Glen (excellent nature walks a the banks of Niagara River), the WildPlay Adventure Course (an adult Jungle Gym), the Whirlpool with its aero car, the Bird Kingdom, the Horn Blower and the Tunnel.
