You drive along the highway and come to a lovely little cottage in the woods with a cozy outdoor area around the house. Here a stream flows by the lawn and both chickens and ducks walk freely around. Breakfast can be served in the main house for an additional fee. Outdoor area: 3 acres of cultivated land. Large lawn that is suitable for ball games and play. There is also a separate area that is suitable for barbecue, separate outdoor furniture is available. Inside: The cabin is suitable for a family with 1 to 2 children. The space Leka is a truly unique island with many very special attractions that make the place one of the most exciting places in Norway. 1. Norway's Geological National Monument: Yellow-red rock formations rise high to the sky - these are beautiful and special 2. Herlaugshaugen: Norway's second largest burial mound from the Viking Age 3. Solsemhula: In Solsemhula there are cave paintings that are several thousand years old. 4. Ørnerovet: Myths say that a little girl was taken by an eagle on a June day in 1932. She was later found on a rock shelf in Hagafjellet. The place where she was found is marked and can be seen from the road on the outer side of the island. 5. Kaperforliset: Leka is known for many shipwrecks. The most famous is the privateer ship "L'enfant de la Patrie" which was shipwrecked in 1798. The French privateers were rescued ashore and started a march to get to Trondheim. Every year, a privateer march is organized in mid-July. 6. Lekamøya: Stone formation on Solsem/Haug. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, as well as the entire large garden and parking space. There is also access to charge a hybrid/electric car. Other things to note On the property there are 8 hens, a rooster and four ducks.
