Family run medieval manor including breakfast

I offer a full English breakfast, organic and locally sourced served in the medieval dining room. You will love the large spacious period rooms in this unique Historic building run by friendly family. Beautiful gardens. Close to good restaurants , National Trust houses and public transport. Ideal for Oxford, Henley and beautiful villages. Excellent walking area. All the rooms are very individual ranging from early 12th century , to Victorian ,beautifully furnished appropriate to the period. The space The bedroom is large capturing the period of the room but with all home comforts. It has a super king very comfortable bed. The bathroom has a bath and not a shower and is situated just outside the bedroom off a private landing. Due to the age of the building (800 years) there are quirks such as an occasional squeaky floor! It does not offer the same as a modern hotel! Breakfast is locally sourced and special diet requirements are available but please let me know in advance. Most of the products are organic and all cooked by grilling and not frying. Guest access Guests have access to the dining room and conservatory and the extensive gardens During your stay I am very happy to give suggestions of local events, restaurants, travel etc. If I don't know the answer I will do the best to find out for you. Other things to note There is parking by front of house and extensive parking in the grounds for larger vehicles. The access through the front door is wide and the drive is gravelled. The room is on the first floor and is accessed by 2 further steps. Please note that due to the building being grade 2 star listed we are unable to install a lift for access. If you are arriving on a Sunday the local pubs do not serve an evening meal however the nearby town of Wallingford does have restaurants serving food on a Sunday night. As we are near to RAF Benson there is occasional helicopter noise from Monday- Thursday. We have a dog but she is kept away from guests unless they request to meet her. She is not allowed in any of the guest areas.
