Curlew Cottage, a Grade 2 listed south facing cottage dating from around 1790 in the small village of West Bretton. An easy walk to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park & a short drive or bus trip to The Hepworth in Wakefield. The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Car parking space for one car on private shared driveway. The cottage is cleaned and prepared personally by your host to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Other things to note Please be aware this is an old character cottage so there are steps up or down into rooms, especially the kitchen. Also the bath is raised up a step. Please take care until you get used to the quirks! A small welcome package of homemade bread, butter, preserves, milk, biscuits & coffee/tea is provided. Any special requests, plant milk or non-feather duvet/pillows for example please ask.
