Close to commercial centre, but in rural location. Pets welcome for small extra fee per pet; £15.00 first night, £5.00 night per pet. Private enclosed patio area, ideal for pets. Dog run in grounds. Kids playground and pool. Everything you need for a short break or in between moving home. Suit both professionals and family. The space We are in the Beautiful Thames valley, close to the Thames path, and traditional English villages, with riverside pubs. Our cottage is a converted barn in the grounds of a 500 year old farmhouse, called Sheephouse Manor. Located in the countryside, yet only 2 miles from Maidenhead town centre, and Cookham Village is 1 mile away.We are close to Windsor, Dorney (rowing 2012 Olympic venue), and only 30 minutes by train to central London. Plenty of room in our 2 acre gardens to relax, and admire our chickens. The cottage is available to hire for 1 week minimum, and you can bring your pets too for an additional cost per pet of £5.00 night per pet. Private enclosed patio ideal for dogs. The cost is negotiable for longer stays. There are lots of cosy pubs and award winning restaurants nearby. (The Fat Duck). We are minutes walk from the River Thames. The cottage has 1 double (Queen size) bed, and en-suite shower. There is a dining table/desk TV and DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchenette. There is access to a shared laundry room with washer and dryer which is Coin operated. There is a local bus to Maidenhead Town Centre and the Train station, which runs every hour from 7.00am until 6.00pm. We are quite out in the country, so a car is preferable, or you can borrow a bicycle to tour about locally. Some peak weeks are individually priced. Guest access Guests have access to the large gardens, to the BBQ and paddock, off street parking, laundry, kids play area with zip wire and trampoline, chickens, dog run. Other things to note We are 15 minutes walk to nearest shops, pubs, but there is a bus or taxi, or use our free bikes. I run the short term accommodation, and we have 6 cottages in total. This is just one , but bigger ones are available .Dogs must be kept on leads within the property. We have a dedicated dog run for our canine friends.
