The Treehouse Game and Stay

The Treehouse Game and Stay isn't your usual self catering apartment. It has its own pool table and retro arcade machine exclusively for your use. Situated above our oak framed cartlodge in the grounds of our house on the edge of the 44 acre village green of Old Buckenham. The village has 2 pubs, shop and country walks. The Treehouse accommodates 2+2 and has a double bedroom, shower room and large open plan living area/games room with kitchenette and breakfast bar. The space The Treehouse Game and Stay really is an apartment with a difference. Not only do you have a full size slate bed pub pool table, but 60 arcade games from the 70s and 80s in a genuine table top cabinet. There’s also a half size virtual pinball table with over 700 multiplayer tables, so you’ll be sure to find your old favourites and new games to play. Its all on freeplay of course. To continue the retro gaming theme, there's a SNES Mini - a remake of the old Super Nintendo with 270 games installed - so you can relive a misspent youth or show the kids what gaming used to be like. We want you to be entertained, so there is a 43" Smart TV with Netflix subscription, iPlayer etc, The TV is hooked up to a Sonos sound bar with Alexa and a full Spotify subscription. So just ask Alexa to play your favourite tracks. There is of course also a TV in the bedroom as well as little touches like USB sockets by the bed for your phones. The sleeping accommodation consists of a private double bedroom and a large sofa bed in the living area. Please note that the large windows in the end of the living area do not have blinds or curtains - but you are not overlooked. The Treehouse is self catering so we don't provide breakfast, but you will find all the crockery/glasses/pans etc that you need and a full size hob, kettle and toaster - please note there is NO OVEN OR MICROWAVE EV charging - we don't have a dedicated charger, but we do have an outside 13amp socket in the parking area - you may use this to charge your car and there is a charge of £10 per day for every night of your stay. Please message us if you want to use this so it can be switched on for you. Guest access The Treehouse is available for your exclusive use. You are also welcome to wander round our 1.5 acre parkland style garden with its wild rabbits and squirrels and help yourself to fruit from the trees when in season. Please just respect our privacy on the patio and close to the main house. Other things to note We do not provide breakfast, however there will be a welcome pack for you with tea, coffee, milk, a few beers and some tasty treats. There is free parking for 1 car. Further cars by arrangement only please. PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children - we do not allow more than 2 adults. Please do not try and book for more than 2 adults or your booking will be refused. If you are a family group with adult children then please contact us first as we would normally allow this.
