Cosy room in quirky cottage

My place is a character quirky cottage in village of Smeeth. You will have use of my spare bedroom. The village nestles at the foot of the picturesque Kent Downs. Off road parking. 15 min drive from Ashford town centre, Designer Outlet and the High Speed train link to London Easy reach of M20 and Channel Tunnel. 15 min drive to coastal towns of Hythe and Folkestone. 30 mins drive to historical Canterbury. Walking distance to 2 local pubs, village shop/post office, hairdressers. The space Private room in my home with double bed and sole access to bathroom for duration of stay. Share lounge and dining areas with host. Guest access Car parking is ample on private driveway. Space could be arranged for motorbikes / cycles in garage overnight if required. If not driving there are taxi companies. Public bus services (no 10) from Ashford and Folkestone limited and cease to operate after 6pm Cycle from Ashford is around 30 mins or walking (for those keep fit peeps) is around 1 hour 40 mins During your stay Happy to socialise with guests but also respect that some people simply want somewhere to stay. Other things to note Cottage is old (circa 1800) characterful and charming with original beam ceilings, odd size doorways and the occasional step. And a large outside space brimming with wildlife areas
