The space Eco Sunshine apartments house with heated pool is located in Lumbarda, small town, 60 meters from the first beach and 6 km from Korcula old town. This eco apartment house, with 5 apartments, was recently just totally renovated. It is self-sufficient, as it produces electricity with the help of photovoltaic panels. The apartment house also has a charging station for electric vehicles. Pets are welcome to stay in our apartments with additional fee of 50,00 €. The big apartment with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms on the ground floor has 73 m2. The living room has a pull-out sofa for 2 persons and continues into the kitchen (with dishwasher) with a dining room. The first bedroom has enough space for an additional baby cot. The second bedroom has one big double bed and bunk bed (the width of the lower bed is 120 cm), separated with one big closet, so altogether the apartment can accommodate up to 8 or even 9 persons. This apartment has 2 bathrooms that were just renovated. On request, we are able to provide an additional baby cot or additional bed for the third child. The house is in a quiet location, but only a few minutes’ walk from the village centre where you will find cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, bank ATM, taxi services and a post office. All five apartments are air-conditioned, contain a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining area, have a LCD satellite TV, free Wi-Fi internet and car parking. The first beach is just 60m down the hill (rocky), the second 1 km (pebble) and two most popular sandy beaches on the island are just 2 km away and are easily reached with bicycles or car (parking provided). Free Wi-Fi internet access, heating and air-conditioning system, LCD satellite television, linen, bathroom towels, hair-dryer, fully functioning kitchens (all sorts of dishes and cutlery), big refrigerator with a freezer, coffee machine, water heater, ambient lighting in the sitting room is the equipment of the apartment. One of the biggest benefits of these apartments, besides being new, is the private outdoor heated pool with a separate corner just for the toddlers (0,4m height of the water). The pool is dedicated only to the guest from the Sunshine apartments (5 apartments) and the terrace on the pool offers magnificent view to the sea and afternoon shadow, so the children can play in the pool without the parents worrying about sun burns. Pool is open from 15.04. - 31.10. While the children’s play in the pool, parents often read a book in sun chairs, surf the internet or prepare the delicious dinner with fresh fish from the market on the outdoor barbecue - grill. There are 2 BBQ available for 5 apartments and there are never fully occupied. A berth for smaller vessels can be organised near the house as well. The nearest bus stop is located within walking distance and the local bus service operates until the evening. Rent me: SUP board (20 eur/day) Speed Boat renting: 220 Euros/day + fuel (licence needed) NEW Bicycles: 15,00 € per day for adult bike and 10,00 € per day for kids bike HOW DO I REACH LUMBARDA? With an airplane: Best way is to fly to Dubrovnik International Airport or Split International Airport (second best option). From there you can take ta catamaran that drives to Korcula town. From Korcula you need another 10 driving minutes (taxi or bus) to your apartment. With a car: There are 3 ways to reach Lumbarda: from any point in Europe, you pass Slovenia to reach the coastal town of Split (big ferry harbour) and then take a 2,5-hour Ferry drive to Vela Luka (a town in Korcula Island), from where there is a 45-minute drive to Lumbarda. The second possibility is that you pass Split and reach a coastal town of Ploce and board a ferry for Trpanj (on Peljesac Peninsula), from where you need to drive 25 minutes to reach another harbour town, Orebic, where you board a car ferry to Korcula Island, only 5 kilometres away from Lumbarda. The third option is to go over the brand new Pelješki bridge from the town of Komarna. When you cross this bridge, you come from Komarna towards Brijesta. From there you have a 45-minute drive to Orebić. And then by ferry from Orebič to Korčula (Dominče). From there you only need 5 km to Lumbarda.
