The Domaine de Pemontier is set in a quiet location perched on a hilltop within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Le Pigeonnier provides guests with stylish and comfortable accommodation featuring original stonework walls and exposed wooden beams. It has two lovely bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and a spacious shower room. One bedroom is found up a narrow staircase and offers a beautiful and romantic setting. The other bedroom can be found off the living room on the ground floor and provides access to the secluded patio. The kitchen/dining room is provided with gas cooker, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine whilst the lounge area has a flat screen TV with French and English TV, CD and DVD players. The spacious bathroom is also found on the ground floor. It is worth noting that the Pigeonnier is fully centrally heated making it ideal if you wanted to book out of season, please contact the owners for details of pricing. All bed linen and towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. Free wi-fi is available throughout the property and the shared pool. The 13 x 6 metre pool is large enough to cater for all guests. Le Pigeonnier has its own secluded patio for sunbathing and barbecues. If you want to eat out the lovely medieval village of Issigeac is just 5 km down the road and has a great selection of restaurants or the town of Bergerac with its wide range of restaurants and shops is only a 10 min drive away. The area offers easy access to all the facilities the Dordogne has to offer, with its chateaux, bastide towns, vineyards, rivers and countryside and if you yearn for even more sophistication the beautiful town of Bordeaux is not very far.
