These excursion destinations can be reached in 1-3 hours from the flat. You will be rewarded with magnificent views. The Kirnitzschtalbahn railway runs from the Lichtenhain waterfall to Bad Schandau, every half hour there and back. It stops at several stations, making it easier to get to the excursion destinations. The hourly bus connections from Lichtenhain to the "Vordere Sächsische Schweiz", such as: Königstein Fortress, Rathen, Bastei, Brand, Wehlen, Stolpen Castle, Pirna, Sebnitz and others, are popular. The border to the Czech Republic is in Sebnitz (5 km) and the border in Schmilka (12 km) from our village.
