Our large safari tent is more like a lodge as it has a raised wooden floor, large windows and a woodburning stove inside. The retreat is close to 3 beaches and walking distance from Holkham Hall. It is on a Wild Campsite so you'll get close to nature and experience a forgotten Norfolk Brickyard. You’ll love the seclusion, the peace and quiet and the rest of the campsite. The Brickmaker's Retreat is a beautiful place for couples, small families with 2 kids or great for a group of 4 friends. The space The Brickyard Campsite is a unique spot secretly hidden on the North Norfolk coast. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty you’ll feel like you have the whole place to yourselves! If you love owls hooting, deer grazing and stoats racing this is the place for you. We do not supply bedding so please bring your own pillow cases, sheets and blankets. Guest access You’ll camp in your own chosen area with no neighbouring pitches, ensuring complete privacy and seclusion for the duration of your stay. You have your own quirky and comfortable loo and shower close to the tent but you're welcome to explore the site and join in with other campers using the pizza oven if you'd like. We also have a communal barn. Other things to note I'm so sorry but we don't take dogs. Campers love telling us about the wildlife they have seen and dogs scare off the deer, hares, hedgehogs and other wild creatures. Many campers find alternative arrangements for their dog or dogs, the kennel of mum and dad? We hope you can come if you can leave the dogs behind. Brickmaker's has solar powered USB charging points and some rechargeable lanterns, there are lots of candle and candle holders but please bring extra torches and lanterns if you like.
