Le Nussbaum is a generous country house and well suited to our lifestyles to spend convivial moments: holidays with family or friends, or for a mix between remote working and leisure... A LARGE LIVING AREA, DINING ROOM & KITCHEN of more than 100 m² on the ground floor provides a very comfortable workspace, games, and meeting area. Designed by the half-timbering, these rooms are both open while each having its own personality. From the dining room, your amused or nostalgic eye will watch the children (adults also play along) have fun on the old pre-war school tables. In the kitchen, you will appreciate the large central plan and the tiles of yesteryear. Its view of the living room with the authentic 17th century mud wall and the fireplace that will warm your heart on cool evenings! THE BEDROOMS EXCELLENT BEDDING will accompany your nights in the 4 bedrooms. A very warm atmosphere emerges from the oak or fir frames, left exposed in all these rooms, from a raw wood floor in one, a chimney in the other or photos from yesteryear. EQUIPMENT FOR BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN is available free of charge (details on the Le Nussbaum gîte website). Guest access The rental is for an entire INDEPENDENT HOUSE & COURTYARD The house and its outbuildings form a square farmhouse with an inner courtyard. The barn, a double porch building, houses an old press and sheltered garden furniture. A quiet space for some, the courtyard is also appreciated by the youngest with its swings, and other games FOR YOUNG AND OLD. Other things to note The "Le Nussbaum" house is very popular with families and friends who gather there - because it is ideally located to explore Alsace: On the Wine Route, near Strasbourg, near the Châteaux and the Vosges, Germany and tri-national treasures such as the collections of Contemporary Art and Art Basel) - or because it offers the ideal place to stay quietly on site with family or friends, to bask in the indoor lounge (fireplace) or outdoor lounge (sheltered terrace), play in the yard (sandbox, basketball, ping pong, etc.), meet around a barbecue or a game... - the cleanliness of the house is considered impeccable by guests who have preceded you. We're taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between each reservation.
