Charming Summerhouse Near the Beach

Our summerhouse "Kærnehuset" is located in beautiful Gammel Skagen, near the beach. The house is equipped with everything you need for your holiday. Kitchen, dining area, one bathroom, 3 bedrooms, living room with tv and laundry area. Outside, you'll find a terrace on each side of the house and also an outdoor shower (perfect after a day at the beach). This summer I built a beautiful outdoor kitchen with grill, refrigiator and kitchensink which will allow you to cook outside in the sun. The space The house itself consists of an old house built by my father in 1938, which has been joined together with a new house built in 2002. The old house has a kitchen, with a dining area and fireplace. Upstairs you'll find a big bedroom with two single beds. In the old days we would fit a family of six (plus a dog) and without electricity and a real toilet! Today it is a bit more luxurious :-) The old house is connected to the new house via the entrance and the scullery. The new house consists of the bathroom, the living room area, small bedroom downstairs and the master bedroom upstairs. There is one staircase going up on the middle and the two houses are connected upstairs. The terrace in front of the house is perfect in the morning and during the day, and the terrace behind the house is lovely in the evening sun. Guest access The whole house is yours and I hope you will feel right at home. The outdoor boathouse will be locked, as it is only used for storage. Back in the day the "toilet" was located in the boathouse :-) Other things to note The house is a non smoking area. Kindly respect this ! Please be aware that I do not provide bedsheets, duver/pillow covers, towels or dish towels. You are asked to please bring this to the house yourself (I simply can't get it washed from visitor to visitor).
