Private ensuite db room in E Grinstead Town centre

East Grinstead is a historic old market town, close to the Ashdown Forest, and surrounded by beautiful Sussex countryside with lots of famous gardens and Nat. Trust properties. It is equal distance from London and the coast with its seaside resorts. London by train takes 55 mins. The town is close to M25/M23 and nearby Gatwick Airport. The space The house has been our family home for more than 40 years. We have a south facing back garden, and the room overlooks ours and the neighbours' beautiful gardens. It also has far views over towards the Ashdown Forest and Weirwood Reservoir. Portland Rd is a quiet residential road within a short walk to the historic High Street with all amenities nearby, including lots of cafés and good restaurants. Guest access Guests have their own ensuite shower room with toilet and small washbasin. During your stay We live in the house and are happy to give advice or offer suggestions for tourist attractions and sightseeing, or day outings to other places of interest in the area. Please advise of your estimated time of arrival as we will personally welcome you to check you in and show you to the room. If you are staying more than one night I go into the room daily to refill the waterfilter, restock coffee/tea supplies, check for supply of toilet paper, empty the bin and clean the shower room. Other things to note We have a cat. Coco is very curious and very friendly. She likes to greet our guests. Coco is kept indoors, but not allowed in the guest room. During the night Coco is shut away and can't bother anyone.
