Idyllic Hideaway Ham Green Cottage near Winchester

The Orchard Studio at Ham Green Cottage is a pretty brick and flint building tucked away in a corner of our truly English country garden. You are completely private. We are family-friendly and you can expect a comfortable stay and warm welcome. We are in a village close to the historic city of Winchester, however our setting is completely rural and quiet. We have a fantastic village pub or there are lots of places to chose from in Winchester itself - the best of both worlds! The space The main bedroom has one king size bed with a small seating area. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin and loo. The bathroom ceiling is sloped so there is restricted headroom in parts of the shower. Guests can wander round our glorious one acre garden complete with free range chickens. In addition there is a separate kitchen and eating area with a two ring induction hob, fridge and combi oven. A welcome pack of continental breakfast is provided with a selection of cereals, bread, jams, yoghurts and teas and coffees. We are only a few miles from the historic City of Winchester. Lots of fantastic places to eat, have drinks or shop. However if you want to stay very local, Sparsholt is a beautiful village with a fantastic pub, The Plough. The village also has a church, school, village hall and small community run shop & PO. There is plenty of parking at Ham Green Cottage and we can store any bikes in the garage if you wish. If you have any special requests, please just ask and we will try to accommodate them if possible. Guest access Guests have their own key to the Orchard Studio and can come and go as they please. It is a completely private space and away from the main house. You are welcome to wander round the garden. Other things to note Due to the enhanced cleaning protocol and recommendations from Airbnb we have amended our check in and check out times. Check in is anytime after 4pm and check out at 10am or before. I may be able to be flexible with these but please check with me first. Thanks.
