Our Converted Victorian Stable block is set up as two living spaces Downstairs has two bedrooms , one twin and one bed setee,a simple breakfast kitchen with a hob and microwave . Separate living room with French Windows and Firestick TV, books,map and Board games . Cottage Garden with seating. Lovely walks, cycle rides and abseiling! . Chatsworth , Haddon Hall , Lyme Park a short drive away. Perfect spot to explore the Peak District The space The appartment has 2 bed rooms . One with a twin bed and one with a small double. Please let us know if you require both beds making up. The small bedroom is sometimes used for family guest when we don't have paying visitors so has a few personal belongings in it. Both rooms are carpeted and have a good WiFi connection. The bathroom has underfloor heating and an overhead rain shower above a deep bath. A comfortable lounge / dinner is available for your stay . The French doors look out onto the bird feeders ,and the woods beyond . The kitchen is a reasonable size and has a two ring hob and microwave . The garden has a patio area with table and chairs for the guest to use . There is also a chimimea so that you can stay out listening to the owls when the sun goes down. You will enjoy walks along the river We really want you to enjoy your stay with us and are on hand to provide useful information about the area and book local restaurants . Stews can be left in the slow cooker for your arrival if requested . Joules Bed linen and wool throws all add to your comfort. Claire is a keen Gardener and the cottage garden is full of roses, delphinium foxgloves and cosmo's A bird feeder attracts woodpeckers, nuthatches and you may even catch a glimpse of the resident sparrowhawk. From here you can walk in every direction, including the Limestone Way, 46 miles of challenging moorland with rivers to cross Getting together with a couple of friends and heading out for wonderful walks - long or short Sitting in the garden with a bottle of wine on a sunny evening. Walk along the river Wye to Litton Mill, visit Monk's Dale Nature Reserve for wildflowers, pick up excellent fish and chips from Elliots in Tideswell, Visit the best pub in the World (according to Joe) at Wardlow mires. Cycle to Thornbridge tap rooms for pizza or walk to the pack horse at little Longstone for Sunday lunch . Pop to the farm shop up the road for homemade chocolate and other treats.
