The space Woodleighton Cottages is a privately run business consisting of 4 spacious Self Catering properties located in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire - just 5 minutes walk from the Race Course. The Cottages were lovingly created from a former Coach House to Wood Leighton House, a beautiful Georgian Manor House dating back to the 1860’s which has also been lovingly restored. The owners of the Cottages live in the Manor House, so if you need any local knowledge or a great restaurant recommendation just ask! The Manor House and Cottages sit nestled in their own quiet, restful and picturesque grounds, surrounded by mature trees, large lawns, a fish pond and beautiful flower beds with walled English gardens. There is a tree lined drive leading to the front of the cottages and an oak spinney adjacent. The Cottages have a uniqueness which gives you the best of both worlds - once in the grounds you feel like you are in the open countryside and all the stresses and strains melt away as you watch the squirrels foraging. Yet almost on your door step you also have all the local amenities. The Luxury Cottages retain beautiful original features while also being equipped to the latest modern standards. Other things to note Wood Leighton House is on Woodleighton Road which is off Highwood Road. The entrance to the House and Cottages is hidden off the road opposite Leighton Road it has white gates to the entrance of the long driveway and is adjacent to a wooded Spinney called Woodleighton Spinney. The closest shop is the Convenience Store which is 400 metres away.
