Description

Well-equipped, well-kept and cozy house, located in Scanzano Jonico, a few kilometers from one of the most beautiful coasts of the Mediterranean: the Ionian Coast of Basilicata. The 60-square-meter house consists of a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom; it has a small terrace and garden. It is located in the countryside, on the 1st floor, in a quiet and well-served area, ideal for those who want to live in contact with nature without sacrificing comfort; good balance between functionality and proximity to the sea. The space This charming house is located in a beautiful corner of Italy, "the Ionian Coast of Basilicata," rarely included in the mass tourist circuits, but which offers tourists ideas of rare beauty and great charm: clear and clean waters, a mild and temperate climate, which allow pleasant stays for at least 6 months a year, where the heat is softened by the breeze that descends from the nearby hills. The most popular beach for tourists in the Ionian area of Basilicata is the beach of Scanzano Jonico; the sea is characterized by wide and sandy beaches, with crystal clear waters and shallow seabeds, ideal for families with children and for those who love long walks on the shore. The beach, often described as golden, is bathed by a turquoise sea, with free stretches and others equipped. The waters are clean and transparent, among the cleanest in Italy. The Lucanian coast, 35 km of paradise nestled between Puglia and Calabria, is the optimal solution for a relaxing and quiet seaside stay, but also the privileged starting point for interesting and evocative excursions to sites of extreme interest, real natural and cultural "pearls": the Sassi di Matera (about 40 km), a unique place in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Archaeological Park of Metaponto with its temples of Magna Graecia; the WWF Nature Reserve of Policoro; the volcano of Monte Vulture (a sleeping giant that hides an incredible secret); the flight of the angel; the Statue of Christ the Redeemer of Maratea; Craco the ghost town; etc. Guest access The areas of the space that guests can use are: terrace, garden, basement (where the washing machine is located) and common area with oven and barbecue. Other things to note The water in the house is not potable; in the garden there is a fountain with potable water. Mandatory payment of tourist tax on site: "adults 1 euro per day, children up to 12 years old do not pay" The kitchen is habitable The double bedroom is large: consisting of a double bed and 2 single beds The bathroom is equipped with a shower.
