The Evergreen House (formerly known as The Container Haus) is made of a shipping container and designed to be a getaway to rest & rejuvenate from your everyday life! The space The Evergreen House was designed so you can retreat with indoor/outdoor living! The front porch is a wonderful place to read a book, catch up on some work, journal or enjoy a delicious meal. You will find a small kitchen equipped with a fridge, water filter, microwave, gas stove and oven. There is a water kettle, french press, coffee and tea to enjoy your cup every morning. We are stocked up on baking and cooking supplies if you would like to settle in and cook some of your favorites while you are staying with us. The Living Room has a twin sized couch where you can rest, watch a movie, or enjoy a game night with friends. The couch can also serve as a twin bed. The Front Room has a full size bed that can sleep 1-2 people (depending on comfort level). You will find a fan, corner closet and outlets to settle and rest. Down the hall you will find our Master Bedroom that is equipped with a king size bed, full size dresser, corner closet and air conditioning unit. Just a few hours with the air conditioner on will allow for a cool nights sleep. Next to the master is our bathroom which feels like a spa! You will wonder if you are inside or outside when showering amongst the greenery and will be inspired by the design of the this bathroom. Lastly, we have our Den Room which is perfect to relax, read, and connect with loved ones. You will find a corner couch that also converts into two twin size beds so can sleep up to 2 people. A comfy leather chair and plenty of storage holding games, books and more to enjoy! Guest access Our guests have access to The Evergreen House, the firepit out front, parking to the side and our hammock that is in front of the house. We do have our management that lives on site in their private residence to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. You will also find a security guard working both day and night to provide extra security and help you navigate the compound during your stay! Other things to note Please note: Because The Evergreen House does not have an exact address the one listed is just an address close to The Evergreen House. For a better idea of where we are located please send us a direct message. After booking we will send you directions and contacts for getting to the Evergreen House. We will also arrange an opportunity to meet at Java House in Jinja (next to the roundabout) to guide you to The Evergreen House.
