The Foxes Den - Private Quarters Annexe

The Foxes Den is a private annexe or a self-contained flat, next to our family home. Filled with home comforts. You will find your stay relaxing, comfortable and refreshing, in your private quarters. We are friendly, and honest and will try to accommodate all your needs. This is a space for 2 people and pets, we are happy to accommodate children, just ask and we will try and help. Please message me through the Airbnb app. The space The accommodation is a private ground floor annexe/flat off the main part of our house. There is a spacious light bedroom with one double bed, with an aspect of the main family garden, plus use of a wardrobe and drawers. The lounge has amenities such as TV, mini fridge, utensils, and plates (in the cupboard). There is a private courtyard, which also serves as the entrance to the annexe. There is a private bathroom, which has an electric shower, toilet, sink, basic toiletries and towel radiator, please help yourself to toiletries but please don't take them. Guests are welcome to use the private courtyard for warmer days, relaxing, fresh air, and taking in the birdsong and flowers. Free wifi, fresh bed linen and fresh towels are provided. Plenty of off-street parking is available (Our drive is very big). This has been our family home for around 11 years now, we love living here in a city, it's like a retreat, looking out of the windows you could be in the countryside, we often refer to our garden as a John Lewis advert with all the foxes, chickens and birds. We have pet chickens which won't keep you awake, so don't worry, but are a pleasure to watch scamper around the garden. Guest access We will initially let you in and show you around, giving you your own key. Guests use the side gate to the right hand side of the property. You can access your living quarters here, and have your own entrance and key. You can access, your bedroom, lounge, bathroom and courtyard. With exterior lighting. Though if you would like to, we are more than willing to show you around our amazing garden and vegetable plot. We like to let you have your privacy. Other things to note Please message me through the app, my mobile is for when you are staying and emergencies. The person who books must be the guest who stays. We are next door to kings gate, the gated house. We offer complimentary breakfast, muesli, cereals and croissants which are in a breakfast box in the lounge, please help yourself. We can accommodate children. Though it will be a travel cot, or an airbed, of course you can bring your own. For babies and the travel cot, we ask bring your own linen. Please feel free to ask. Dogs and pets: We do take dogs, but 2 small/medium dogs maximum, the space is not big enough for more. We ask you to bring dogs towels and make sure the area is kept as clean as possible, we can provide dog towels so don't worry if you forget. If you have any queries please ask. We are happy for cats to stay too. We kindly ask not to leave pets alone in The Fox Den if you are bringing your four legged friends, they can get a little stressed. We only accept bookings with full Airbnb verifications and through airbnb only. We will be mindful and discreet sometimes you may here a piano from my sons practice, we are very proud of him and he really is quite good, we do get him to keep it down when we have guests. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Please remove shoes in the house. Please do not leave dogs or animals alone and keep them off the furniture. Please keep the gate closed as we have a dog and chickens and this helps keep everyone safe. There is a galvanised bin in courtyard, but lease feel free to leave any litter in this. And of course, please order food! Curries around here are awesome! If you want to get a delivery just let us know and we will send the delivery driver round to your door, no problem! Deliveroo, just eat, uber eats…. Etc.
