Lavender Cottage in Aldbury with log fire. WiFi

*No service fee on this cottage* Lavender Cottage is right in the heart of the quaint village of Aldbury, and on the doorstep of the beautiful Ashridge Estate. We have 3 bedrooms, the largest with a Queensize along with a day bed, one with a double bed, the third with a small double/large single (can sleep 2 but it may be cosy!) A log burning stove, WiFi, parking for one car. If you're looking for a tranquil location with bags of character and charm - then this is for you! The space An adorable character home, with 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, an open lounge area with feature wood fire, smart tv, WiFi. Exposed beams and usual cottage charm, Lavender Cottage would ideally suit families, couples or a small group of friends travelling to the area that desire a well equipped and tasteful home. Oozing character and features galore, this is a great retreat for anybody wanting a truly country escape. With two comfy sofas and a huge library of dvds it's perfect for a lazy film night in! Guest access You will have full use of the property. Other things to note The smallest double bed will sleep two but it is probably better for two children or one adult. Hopefully the photos give an idea of the size. Please be aware that even though we can comfortably sleep 7 this is not an ideal place for large groups - the cottage is snug, there's room round the kitchen table for 6 at a squeeze. As an old and character property the door frame height is pretty low in parts - if you are tall the please be careful! The small staircase is quite steep. We have dedicated parking for one car only to the rear of the cottage, any additional cars may be parked on the street at the front or in the car park by the recreational area 100 yards along the lane. There are no parking restrictions in the village.
