Ilha Azul House is a double-story house nestled in a quiet suburban area of Ponta do Ouro, only a 2-minute drive from the town and beach. The house can comfortably sleep 16 people with 2 extra camping beds per floor at an extra charge of R250 per bed per night, with very comfortable mattresses. Linen, etc, are supplied for these extras. The house can accommodate up to 20 guests. The house is air-conditioned - all bedrooms have aircon and there are fans in all common areas. Both units have DSTV. The bottom floor is well maintained and boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 en-suite), a modern kitchen, a large living room, and a braai area for socializing, plus beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. GROUND FLOOR (9 - 11 SLEEPER): Room 1: one queen bed (own bathroom) Room 2: one queen bed (own bathroom) Room 3: one double bed plus one single bed (own bathroom) Room 4: one queen bed plus one complete stand-alone bathroom. UPSTAIRS FLOOR (X 9 SLEEPER): Room 1: one double bed plus 1 single bed (plus one complete stand-alone bathroom) Room 2: one queen bed (own bathroom) Room 3: one queen bed (own bathroom). Living Room: 2 extra-camping beds can be fitted here. TAKE NOTE: Two extra single camping beds can be added in Bedrooms 1 and Bedroom 2 at an additional charge of R250 per bed per night. (During peak season, there is a flat rate which includes the extra beds. ) The Ground floor has a swimming pool for the client's use. The gardens have been beautifully landscaped. Please Note: Towels are not supplied - please bring your own beach and bath towels. We provide complimentary laundry, dish wash liquid, and toilet paper. The house is serviced daily. Staff can assist you within reasonable hours. Check-in: 2.00 pm Check-out: by 10.00 am SWIMMING POOL We are very glad that you will be enjoying our swimming pool! Please be extra- vigilant for your personal safety and take full responsibility for monitoring your children at the pool at all times. It is forbidden to dive as the pool is only 1.4 meters deep. LAUNDRY We hope the staff will maintain the house to your complete satisfaction. As mentioned, they can assist you with small amounts of your daily laundry items. However, if you have excessive amounts of laundry requirements, please make an agreeable arrangement with the staff. CLEANING DUTIES The staff requires at least one full hour each day, at each floor level, to properly clean and maintain the interior of the house. Please allow them the freedom to perform their duties. TORCHES Although the Ponta electricity supply has improved this year so far, it is still subject to some power cuts, especially in peak season when the demand is very high. That together with thunderstorms might cause some power cuts from time to time. It is advisable that your group carries torches just in case. We do not recommend the use of candles due to fire risk. Other things to note The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Should the property be booked by a group of youngsters, kindly NOTE no under 25's without parental/adult supervision. REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT: BOTTOM FLOOR R1500 The Refundable Breakage Deposit needs to be paid in full one month prior to your arrival date and will be refunded back to you within 14 days after your departure date. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, a fee of R1500.00 is payable; check out by no later than 3 pm. No pets are permitted at any of the houses. Loud music, parties, and functions are not allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate in which they are staying. Absolutely no noise is allowed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
