In summer, you can explore the nearby Krkonoše National Park on foot or by bike, or enjoy active excursions such as climbing, mountain biking, or cultural day trips in the area. Day trips to Trutnov, Dvůr Králové, Hradec Králové, Janské Lázně, Pec pod Sněžkou, and even Prague are also easily possible.
